Tanija – Yoga
With over 10 years of regular yoga practice Tanija has found so much appreciation for having a space to go to where she can find a sense of internal focus, a moment to slow down and re-connect to herself. In Tanija’s classes you will enjoy a diverse flow and a strong connection to breath. She will encourage you to listen to the rhythm of your body and take options to find stability, ease and comfort within a pose.
Haidee – Yoga
With 15 years of practice and 7 years of teaching Haidee aims to enable others to move freely without injury, and to create a calmness of mind in a busy world. Combining a love of anatomy, the human form and movement, Haidee encourages a curious approach to yoga. She will guide you towards a clear and uncomplicated focus on mobility, stability, simultaneously creating a well functioning body and mind.
Twyla – Yoga
Twyla’s passion for truly holistic health and well-being led her to her yoga studies as an important complement to her qualifications in naturopathy, herbal medicine, nutrition and personal fitness training. Twyla’s classes build from a strong foundation of alignment to a gentle flowing practice designed to build mobility, flexibility, mindfulness and strength.
Stu – Yoga
Stu has enjoyed a regular yoga practice since he was a teen. He is and avid outdoors sports adventurer who enjoys surfing, intrepid hikes, and snowboarding. Stu’s classes will guide you towards finding balance, a mind/body connection and the gift of continually looking for gratitude.
Natasha – Pilates
Natasha is an Auckland based freelance contemporary dancer and pilates instructor. The practice of pilates has played an important role in Natasha’s dance and movement training contributing to building strength, control, flexibility and often as injury rehab. Her style of teaching is energetic, fun and always gets the body burning! She is passionate about bringing a versatile style of teaching to her clients and loves building connections and understanding with those she teaches.
Sarah – Hiit Pilates
What is Hiit Pilates with Sarah?
Its like bootcamp Pilates on speed! You’ll get hot and maybe a bit sweaty, there’s a pilates and aerobic element although it is all low impact on joints….so you’ll be feeling the burn and working hard without any risk of injury. You’ll definitely feel this class well into the next week!!! Building strength, stamina and resistance to 80’s music is one way to start your Saturday! This class is strong, fun and addictive!
Susanna – Pilates
Susanna is a Te Atatu Peninsula local and we are very excited she has joined our team on Tuesdays at 7pm Expect a strong pilates class, lots of reps and a burn that you will learn to love! You will notice your body gaining strength and resilience quickly, you will definitely feel your glutes and abs in this class!
Alicia – Pilates
(Alicia is currently on maternity leave) Alicia, originally from Spain has a Sport Science degree and 7 years experience teaching Pilates. Her love of anatomy and the connection between the physical body and mind was what led her to Pilates training with Stott in mat and reformer. In Alicia’s classes you will not just get a good work-out and stretch but you will learn about how your body works and why. She will give you modifications for the exercises so everyone feels comfortable in the class.
