About This exciting purpose built gallery houses New Zealand ’s largest selection of Crystals and Minerals from around the world and Beyond. Many rare and beautiful specimens are available both on exhibit and for sale. Crystal Mountain has been specifically built for easy access for visitors of all ages, regardless of physical ability and will delight old and young alike with the many things to see and do. Set on 40 acres, in the foothills of the Waitakere Ranges it is a peaceful oasis just 20 km from Auckland C.B.D. Besides our world class collection of crystals and minerals, an excellent selection of unique stone gifts and souvenirs are also available, many of which have been produced by our own company. ADVENTURES Get to know the courses With five exciting and diverse adventure options to choose from, there is something for all levels of confidence and ability. Tree Huggin’ BEGINNER 20-30 MIN 1.1 M COURSE 1 If you’re not quite tall or confident enough to climb the highest treetops, there’s still great fun to be had at Tree Adventures. This single high wire course offers loads of excitement, and at only 2-3 meters above the ground it is perfect for beginners of any age. Wiggle your way around 12 exciting high wire activities, including; suspended tunnels, swinging logs, Japanese steps and a zipline to finish. Minimum height requirement 1.1m For climbers� a minimum of 5 years + $25 PER PERSON Monkey’n Around BEGINNER 2 – 2.5 HRS 1.2 M COURSES 1 to 4 If you’re a beginner, or just not so keen on heights, have no fear, the Monkey’n Around courses are here! This stellar adventure option offers a series of challenging and exciting high wire courses that will have you climbing 3 to 7 meters above the ground. This is the perfect option for young monkeys or grownups looking to climb a series of beginner to intermediate courses that are packed with stimulating activities minus the height. Minimum height requirement 1.2m For climbers 7 years + $44 PER PERSON Branching Out INTERMEDIATE 2 – 2.5 HRS 1.3 M COURSES 3 to 6 For budding baboons to aspiring acrobats, this adventure option is perfect for climbers of all ages. With a diverse range of obstacles including the caterpillar, hanging logs and the legendary platform leap, Branching Out has established itself as one of our most popular options for intermediate climbers.?You can also look forward to our one-of-a-kind climbing wall ladder to give you a taste of indoor rock climbing in the forest. Minimum height requirement 1.3m For climbers 9 years + $46 PER PERSON High Flyer ADVANCED 2.5 – 3 HRS 1.4 M Courses 5 to 8 Everyone from confident first-timers to hard-core adrenaline junkies will have a blast on these challenging high wire courses. Whether it’s surfing through the treetops, wobbling across balance beams, or negotiating a number of tricky obstacles, High Flyer will have you tackling the treetops at dizzying heights of up to 14 meters. Finish this adventure off Tarzan & Jane style with a number of rewarding flying foxes that will have you zipping through the treetops at full throttle. Minimum height requirement 1.4m For climbers 12 years + $50 PER PERSON Tarzan’s Test EXPERT 2.5 – 3 HRS 1.5 M COURSES 7 to 10 Welcome to the ultimate high wire adventure! Tarzan’s Test is guaranteed to push your limits, test your balance and unleash your inner monkey. In order to be king or queen of the jungle you’ll have to tackle both of our signature courses, which offer the Tarzan swings, ape hanger, tree surfing and the biggest flying fox in the park. At dizzying heights of up to 14 metres even the most experienced climbers will be challenged. Minimum height requirement 1.5m For climbers 14 years +

ABOUT VERTICAL ADVENTURES Vertical Adventures is a member of NZOIA (New Zealand Outdoor Instructors Association). Darrin Worsfold, owner and founder of Vertical Adventures, has been an avid climber for more than 25 years and a registered instructor with NZOIA. Vertical Adventures went from a dream and concept drawings in 2008, to reality in 2010. As a qualified builder and certified instructor, Darrin was fully involved in every area of the design and build process. He is very pleased with the finished product and loves seeing people’s reactions when they walk in. There is plenty to do whether you are an adult, a kid or a kid at heart. ABOUT US Hands on, farm experiences Kiwi Valley Farm Park was originally created back in 2001. Nestled in the beautiful surroundings of Henderson Valley, Kiwi Valley is a 20 acre farm that was created with the intention of providing a hands on, real-life experience to children and adults living in the city. Interactive and educated on our New Zealand farm animals Having a farm situated so conveniently within Auckland City, created an opportunity to offer an experience to all. Many children have often only seen or owned one of your typical household animals. Kiwi Valley Farm Park provides a safe, friendly and fun environment for all people to enjoy the fresh country air with our wonderful farm animals! TEAM PROFILES Ben and Crystal Dun Owners and Directors Ben spent the majority of his childhood growing up and working with the original owners and their children here at Kiwi Valley Farm Park. In 2006, Ben and Crystal purchased Old MacDonald’s Mobile Farm and built it up from a one vehicle operation, to a four vehicle fleet. They sold this business in 2012 and were lucky enough to purchase Kiwi Valley in 2013 to continue on with its purpose. Together they have HUGE vision for the farm and want to promote a safe, fun and hands on interactive learning experience, not only for children, but for adults too! Ben also works in the NZ Film Industry and Crystal is a fully qualified and registered Paramedic with St John Ambulance. You will often see them out and about in various areas of the farm, whilst wrangling their children too !
