Matuku Link joins World Wetland Day, with a host of activities at this Wetland Conservation Project. A market with stalls, food, coffee, guided walks, bird talks, bug hunts… and the opportunity to see the changes since we bought the property in 2016 and have spent over fifteen thousand volunteer hours improving the place, with two new boardwalks and a Wetland Education Centre. All free and all welcome.

Try to find one of our wandering Pateke (brown teal), spot a secretive spotless crake or even our namesake Matuku (bittern), or join one of our guided tours on bugs, birds, eels or flora & fauna.
