Welcome to our practice We are a family friendly, welcoming medical practice providing a full range of general practice services.  We work in partnership with our patients to prevent ill health and promote well-being for all those registered with us. We are also proud to be Cornerstone Accredited. Our large practice space means we can offer treatment of minor accidents and wound care, so our local community don’t need to travel for these services.  We offer disease prevention & promotion of healthy lifestyle, multi-ethnic patient care, continuity of care, informed choices, responsive to the special status, health needs and rights of Maori, disabled access, working with other agencies and community services, refugee care and assisting with psycho-social issues. We are closed on Weekends and Public Holidays. We recommend you go to Westcare Whitecross 131 Lincoln Road Henderson during these times.  This summer enrolled patients with CSC cards can book through book.unifyhealth.co.nz  when we are closed or you are unable to get an appointment with us. We are a friendly, family-focused, custom built, large modern medical centre with experienced doctors, practice nurses and receptionists.  We offer a full range of medical services including Plunket, Pharmacy, Labtest, Physiotherapists,  Dentists and visiting specialists all on site. Westview Medical Centre aims to provide quality healthcare services that are patient focused, culturally appropriate and of the highest standard. We provide General Practice Services including Men and Women Health Checks, Childhood Immunisations, Travel Immunisations, Chronic Disease Management and Education, Dive Medicals and Minor Removals to name a few. About Swanson Medical Centre Swanson Medical Centre was set up in the late 1970’s by the local pharmacist, Margaret Saunders. Dr Mike Jenkin joined the Practice in 1984 and took over as a sole practitioner in 1987. As he became busy with obstetrics he took on an assistant for one session a week, and from there  the Practice expanded to the current 3 doctors. Dr Wiki Gillespie joined Swanson Medical Centre in 2012 and became a partner on 1 April 2013. Dr Helen Johnston joined the Practice in 2014. Dr Tony Moyle joined in June 2017. We hope to be able to accomodate the growing population of Swanson and its surroundings and are looking to extend our hours and services over the next few months. Our cottage has grown We have a beautiful new building to provide improved services to our community. We have car parking for 14 cars around the surgery. We are able to provide low fees At Swanson Medical Centre, we’re all about making healthcare affordable to our community.  To be able to do this our practice accepts capped fees in exchange for being able to offer lower consultation charges to our patients. We belong to Procare (our Primary Health Organisation) which provides additional funding for certain conditions and means your prescriptions are subsidised at the pharmacy.
Welcome to Kelston Medical Centre Kelston Medical is a friendly place where patients feel at home. Our philosophy is to offer medical care which is personal and of high quality, irrespective of race, age, sex or religion. We strive to achieve the best patient health by using a collaborative approach between the patient and health professional. This includes appropriate chronic disease education on health conditions and medications, along with relevant lifestyle coaching and support. We want to empower patients to manage their own health alongside the support of the Doctor and Nurse. Facilities include disabled parking and access, on site pharmacy. Doctors Services General and family medicine We provide comprehensive medical care for all ages. Disease diagnosis and management, specialist referrals and off work certificates. Women’s Health Provide women with family planning advice, IUCD insertion, smears, STI checks, breast examinations and mammogram referrals. Men’s Health Provide men with family planning advice, prostate checks, PSA monitoring, cardiovascular screening and risk assessment. Medicals Insurance, Driving, Recreational Diving, Armed Forces, Full General Medicals. Minor Surgery For ingrown toenails, removal of suspicious skin lesions and potential malignant cells. Accidents Provide treatment for minor accidents(others may be referred to hospital). Removal of foreign bodies, suturing cuts, treating strains and sprains, and referral patients for X ray and specialists as necessary. Terminal/palliative We provide terminal and palliative care as necessary. This may include home visits for those to unwell to attend the medical centre and a 24 on call service in the late phase of treatment. Dermoscopy The practice now has a dermoscope which helps detects early signs of melanoma and skin malignancy.
Our staff have many years experience in family health DOCTORS ON LUCKENS’ STAFF PROFILES DOCTOR JONATHAN SEE Jonathan was born in Malaysia and completed his medical studies in the University of Auckland in 2005. Since then, he practised as a doctor in Singapore and is a registered Singapore Family Physician. Jonathan relocated to New Zealand with his wife and young son in 2020 in search of a more balanced lifestyle. Prior to relocation, he ran a GP practice with a partner in Singapore, while practising part-time in a nursing home. He is thus well versed in the multifaceted aspects of GP work, and enjoys connecting with patients both young and old. Given his experiences in various culturally diverse environments, he is fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Malay. In his spare time, Jonathan and his family loves exploring New Zealand’s amazing nature, and look forward to cultivating new hobbies such as cycling and camping. Dr Jonathan See works Mondays to Fridays and is accepting new patients. DOCTOR MICHELINE NAIDU Born and raised in west-Auckland, and of Tahitian, Cook Island, and NZ-European decent, Micheline completed her medical training at the University of Auckland in 2011. She initially worked in the hospital environment before moving into General Practice in late 2014. Micheline is known for her caring and easy-to-talk to nature. She enjoys the diverse presentations in general practice, as well as getting to know families, and being able to explain things simply, so her patients better understand their condition and health needs. Micheline is married to Vijay who is of Fijian-Indian descent, and together they have 2 children and a dog. Micheline enjoys spending time with her family, playing board games and watching movies. She sings in the worship team at her local church, and she has an interest in medical missions with the non-for-profit organisation Healthcare Christian Fellowship NZ which she currently chairs. Dr Micheline Naidu currently works on Mondays-Friday except Wednesdays and is accepting new patients. NURSE: JENNY BURNETT Jenny is a NZ trained RGON with more than 35 years of experience. Her main area of experience has been in acute medical care, women’s health and many other various specialities. Jenny enjoys all aspects of primary health care with so many strengths in Long-Term Conditions such as Asthma, Diabetes, Paediatrics and Mental health. She enjoys the Patient Education aspect of primary health and is keen to support people and there families to understand their condition and to be empowered to self manage. Jenny is a great asset to our community. ASSISTANT PRACTICE MANAGER/HEAD RECEPTIONIST: MIA Mia is our administrator and shares the Practice Manager role, with many years of experience in General Practice. She looks after the day-to-day tasks and duties that run the medical centre. Mia also looks over our reception which is the first point of contact for our patients. Mia will make sure you are looked after and will try her best in helping you access our services here at the medical centre. We thank you for your patience and understanding at our busy times.
