In 1947, he was joined in partnership by Bob Davenport who had begun his own practice in 1930. As Waitakere grew the firm grew also, working hard to cater for the growing needs of their clients. In 1969, the Henderson office was opened by Ian McHardy and became part of the Davenports group. Now known as Davenports West, the firm moved into its current premises in 1986. Tips to find the right Lawyers in West Auckland

Choosing the right lawyer for a project in West Auckland can be a daunting task. Here are some tips to help you find the right attorney for your needs:

  1. Determine your specific legal needs: Before you start looking for a lawyer, it’s important to have a clear understanding of what you need legal assistance with. This will help you narrow down your search to attorneys who specialize in your area of need.
  2. Research potential lawyers: Look for lawyers who have experience in the area of law that you need help with and who are licensed to practice in West Auckland. You can find this information on their website or by checking with the New Zealand Law Society – Or with our West Auckland directory.
  3. Schedule a consultation: Once you have a shortlist of potential lawyers, schedule a consultation to discuss your case and to get a sense of their communication style, availability, and willingness to work with you.
  4. Check their references: Before making a final decision, check the references of the lawyer you are considering. This will give you an idea of their past performance and the quality of service they provide.
  5. Consider the cost: Find out about their fees and billing practices, and make sure that you are comfortable with their cost structure.

How Much Does A West Auckland Lawyer Cost?

The average price of a lawyer in West Auckland  varies widely depending on the type of legal services you need, the lawyer’s level of experience, and their billing method.

Some lawyers charge by the hour, while others charge a flat fee or a contingency fee (a percentage of the settlement or award). It’s hard to give an estimate because it depends on the nature of the case and the lawyer’s hourly rate.

It’s best to ask the lawyer directly about their fees and billing practices, and make sure that you are comfortable with their cost structure.

Keep in mind that the cheapest lawyer is not always the best option, and it is important to find a lawyer who has the expertise and experience to handle your case effectively.
